Yoga Ball
A yoga ball or exercise ball can be used to provide support in poses that may be unstable. A ball can also be used to make a pose more challenging by performing part or the entire pose on the ball. This makes the participant engage not only the muscles used in the pose but also the muscles used for balance.
Besides using a yoga ball for poses, it can be used for strength building exercises. Crunches, push-ups and lunges can be made more difficult with the use of ball. The body must work harder to stabilize itself therefore more muscles are engaged and more calories are burned.
A yoga ball is for those poses the stretch the back. The spine can be supported while it’s elongated. This improves blood flow and relaxes the participant.
